ABOUT PRASHANTH
Prashanth is a social activist, volunteer, businessman and a resident of Watford, Hertfordshire.
Whilst pursuing his higher education, Prashanth gained experience in a number of roles such as a waiter, restaurant supervisor, shop assistant, shop manager, market researcher, salesman and recruitment consultant.
At University, Prashanth gained a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, and additional Master’s degree in Business Administration.
His passion for flying led him into a career in aviation as a Pilot. After gaining experience in a variety of Pilot roles, Prashanth’s passion for teaching led him to become a career flight instructor. He now owns a group of flight schools in the UK, USA and India, training the next generation of pilots.
Prashanth is also an active Karate Instructor with a Fifth Degree Black Belt, an avid cyclist, runner and mountain hiker. As an artist, Prashanth has had several art exhibitions of his paintings including in the US and India.
As a Pilot and Flight Instructor, Prashanth is keen on aviation safety. In his role as a Federal Aviation Administration Safety Team (FAASTeam) Representative, he presents regular safety seminars contributing to flight safety.
A member of the Watford Conservative Association, Prashanth is a council candidate for the Meriden Ward and a Watford Conservative Spokesman on Businesses and Economic Development.
Prashanth feels strongly about combating climate change and actively volunteers and participates in environmental protection and conservation events.
Prashanth also actively volunteers to help with other community projects.
He has been an active volunteer for the NHS. From the very start of the COVID Vaccination Programme, he has regularly volunteered in the vaccination programme along with his wife who is an NHS doctor. Seeing the need for more vaccinators, he subsequently trained and qualified as a Vaccinator.
As an educator and flight instructor, Prashanth also strongly believes in investing in education. He currently serves as Governor of Chater Infant School, Watford.
Prashanth is passionate about working for the community and uses his life experiences and skills to help people locally, including leading successful community and social campaigns that make a difference.
